大闢王取器、與以東、摩押、亞捫、非利士、亞馬力諸國所進之金銀、俱獻耶和華。○

大衛遂以此諸器、並自列國所得之金銀、即自以東、自摩押、自亞捫人、自非利士人、自亞瑪力人、所得之金銀、皆別之為聖獻於主、

犹大王约阿施于是拿出所有的圣物，就是他的祖先犹大王约沙法、约兰和亚哈谢所献的圣物，以及他自己所献的圣物，还有耶和华殿和王宫宝库里所有的金子，送给亚兰王哈薛，哈薛就离开耶路撒冷去了。

大卫和跟随他的人上去袭击基述人、基色人和亚玛力人，这些人自古以来就是这地的居民，居于书珥到埃及地之间。大卫攻打那地，无论男女，都不让一人存活，又掳走了牛、羊、驴子、骆驼和衣服，然后回来，到亚吉那里去。

凡是心里受感、灵里乐意的，都来了；他们把耶和华的礼物都带来了，用作会幕的工程和会幕中的一切使用，又用来做圣衣。凡是甘心乐意的，不论男女，都来了，把金针、耳环、戒指、手钏和各样的金器都送来。他们各人都把金子作礼物呈献给耶和华。凡是有蓝色紫色朱红色线、细麻、山羊毛、染红的公羊皮、海狗皮的，都送了来。凡是奉献银子和铜为礼物的，都带了来作耶和华的礼物；凡是有皂荚木可以用作工程上任何使用的，都带了来。

大卫问他：“你是属谁的？你从哪里来？”他回答：“我是个埃及的青年人，是亚玛力人的奴仆。因为我三天前病了，我的主人就把我丢弃了。

这样，所罗门为耶和华的殿所作的一切工程都完成了。所罗门把他父亲大卫分别为圣的金银和器皿，都运了来，存放在耶和华殿的库房里。

这示罗密和他的兄弟掌管库房里的一切圣物，就是大卫王、众家族首领、千夫长、百夫长和军长所献的圣物。他们把在战场上掠夺的财物献上，用作修建耶和华的殿。

过了年，在列王出征的时候，约押带领军兵，毁坏了亚扪人的地方，然后去围困拉巴。那时大卫住在耶路撒冷。约押攻打拉巴，把城摧毁。大卫从米勒公神像的头上取下金冠，发现金子重三十公斤，又有一块宝石嵌在上面；有人把这冠冕戴在大卫的头上；大卫从城里夺走了大批战利品。

此外，你也有很多匠人：凿石的人、石匠、木匠和能作各样工作的巧手工人，

他们其他的利未亲族，就管理神殿里的库房和圣物的库房。

他们就是住帐棚的以东人和以实玛利人，摩押人和夏甲人，迦巴勒、亚扪、亚玛力、非利士和推罗的居民。

可是，所有的金银和铜铁的器皿，都要归耶和华为圣，存入耶和华的库房中。”

大卫夺了所有的羊群和牛群，跟从大卫的人把它们赶到原有的群畜面前，说：“这是大卫的战利品。”

锡安的女子啊！起来踹谷吧！因为我必使你的角成为铁，使你的蹄成为铜；你必粉碎许多民族，毁灭他们所得的不义之财，作为祭物献与耶和华，把他们的财宝献给全地的主。

大卫王也把这些器皿，连同他从他征服的各国得来的金银都一起分别为圣，献给耶和华。就是从以东、摩押、亚扪人、非利士人、亚玛力人所得来的，以及从琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢获得的战利品。

我算什么？我的人民又算什么？竟有力量这样乐意奉献？因为万物都是从你而来，我们只是把从你手里得来的，奉献给你。
