Nathan replied to David,“ Do what you want to. God is with you.”

拿單對大衛說：『你心裏要作甚麼，你只管作甚麼好啦；因為上帝與你同在。』

拿單曰、爾其從心所欲而行、蓋上帝偕爾、

拿單告大闢曰、上帝祐爾、任意以行。

拿單謂大衛曰、爾可隨心意以行、天主必祐爾、

Nathan replied to David,“ Whatever you have in mind, do it, for God is with you.”

And Nathan said to David,“ Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

Nathan replied to David,“ Do whatever you have in mind, for God is with you.”

So Nathan told David,“ Do all that is on your mind, for God is with you.”

Then Nathan said to David,“ Do whatever is in your heart, for God is with you.”

Then Nathan said to David,“ Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

And Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thy heart; for God is with thee.

So Nathan told David,“ Do all that is on your heart, for God is with you.”

Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that[ is] in thine heart; for God[ is] with thee.

Nathan said to David,“ You should do whatever you have in mind, for God is with you.”

Nathan said to David,“ Do all that is in your heart; for God is with you.”

King David stood up. He said,“ All of you Israelites, listen to me. With all my heart I wanted to build a house for the Lord. I wanted it to be a place of peace and rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord. The ark is the stool for our God’s feet. I made plans to build the Lord’ s house.

All these things will happen. Then do what you want to do. God is with you.

May he give you what your heart wishes for. May he make all your plans succeed.

He continued,“ At that time many people of all nations and languages will take hold of one Jew. They will grab hold of the hem of his robe. And they will say,‘ We want to go to Jerusalem with you. We’ve heard that God is with you.’ ”

But the Lord said to Samuel,“ Do not consider how handsome or tall he is. I have not chosen him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outside of a person. But the Lord looks at what is in the heart.”

What we know now is not complete. What we prophesy now is not perfect.

The Israelites looked over the supplies those people had brought. But they didn’t ask the Lord what they should do.

David said to Solomon,“ My son, with all my heart I wanted to build a house for the Lord my God. That’s where his Name will be.

Nathan replied to the king,“ Go ahead and do what you want to. The Lord is with you.”

The angel greeted her and said,“ The Lord has blessed you in a special way. He is with you.”
