And yet this was a small thing in Your sight, O God; and You have also spoken of Your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have regarded me according to the rank of a man of high degree, O Lord God.

上帝啊，不止如此，你还应许将来要恩待仆人的后裔。耶和华上帝啊，你视我为尊贵的人。

神啊，这在你眼中看为小事，你对你仆人的家的未来发出应许！耶和华神啊，你看我好像一个高贵的人。

神啊，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。耶和華神啊，你看顧我好像看顧高貴的人。

上帝啊，這在你眼中還看為小，你又說到你僕人的家將來的情況。耶和華上帝啊，你看顧我好像看顧尊貴的人。

神啊，這在你眼中還看為小，你又說到你僕人的家將來的情況。耶和華神啊，你看顧我好像看顧尊貴的人。

上帝啊，不止如此，你還應許將來要恩待僕人的後裔。耶和華上帝啊，你視我為尊貴的人。

神啊，這在你眼中看為小事，你對你僕人的家的未來發出應許！耶和華神啊，你看我好像一個高貴的人。

然而上帝啊、這在你眼中雖看為小事，你卻說到你僕人家的事至於久遠！永恆主上帝啊，你竟看我有上級人士的地位啊！

上帝歟、此於爾目、猶以為小、爾又言及爾僕之家、至於久遠、耶和華上帝歟、爾之待我、等於尊顯之人、

曾是上帝、以今所行、猶為不足、復有應許、欲昌我後、至於恆久、耶和華上帝錫我、得同於斯世之豪傑。

天主歟、此恩在主目中猶以為小、更許施恩於僕之家、至於久遠、主天主歟、恩待我較勝於他人、又作待我與待至高之人無異

And as if this were not enough in your sight, my God, you have spoken about the future of the house of your servant. You, Lord God, have looked on me as though I were the most exalted of men.

I would have thought that you had already done more than enough for me. But now, my God, you have spoken about my royal house. You have said what will happen to it in days to come. Lord God, you have treated me as if I were the most honored man of all.

And this was a small thing in your eyes, O God. You have also spoken of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have shown me future generations, O Lord God!

And now, O God, in addition to everything else, you speak of giving your servant a lasting dynasty! You speak as though I were someone very great, O Lord God!

This was a little thing to you, God, for you have spoken about your servant’s house in the distant future. You regard me as a man of distinction, LORD God.

This was a small thing in Your eyes, God; but You have spoken of Your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have viewed me according to the standard of a person of high degree, Lord God.

And this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; but thou hast spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O Jehovah God.

This was a little thing to You, God, for You have spoken about Your servant’s house in the distant future. You regard me as a man of distinction, Lord God.

And[ yet] this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast[ also] spoken of thy servant’s house for a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

And you did not stop there, O God! You have also spoken about the future of your servant’s family. You have revealed to me what men long to know, O LORD God.

This was a small thing in your eyes, God; but you have spoken of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and have respected me according to the standard of a man of high degree, Yahweh God.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Indeed He says,‘ It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you.And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.”’”According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.

Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel.And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a name like the name of the great men who are on the earth.

And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.

He also chose David His servant, And took him from the sheepfolds;From following the ewes that had young He brought him, To shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance.So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.

And yet this was a small thing in Your sight, O Lord GOD; and You have also spoken of Your servant’s house for a great while to come. Is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more!

Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, And said:“ I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him.The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.I will beat down his foes before his face, And plague those who hate him.“ But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, And in My name his horn shall be exalted.Also I will set his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the rivers.He shall cry to Me,‘ You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.’Also I will make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth.My mercy I will keep for him forever, And My covenant shall stand firm with him.His seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.“ If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,If they break My statutes And do not keep My commandments,Then I will punish their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.Nevertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail.My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David:His seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me;It shall be established forever like the moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah
