I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never take my love away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor.

从前神到底对哪一位天使说过“你是我的儿子，我今天生了你”，又说“我将成为他的父亲，他成为我的儿子”呢？

你们要侧耳听，来到我这里；你们要听，就得以存活。我必与你们立永远的约，就是给大卫的信实慈爱的约。

撒母耳就对他说：“耶和华今天从你身上撕去了以色列的王权，赐给了你的邻人，他比你好。

我要宣讲耶和华的谕旨：他对我说：“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你。

当亲吻他的儿子，否则他一发怒，你们就在所行的路上灭亡，因为他的怒火片刻间就会燃起！所有投靠他的人是多么蒙福啊！

“我将要做你们的父亲，你们将要做我的儿女。这是主、全能者说的。”

他将呼求我：‘你是我的父、我的神，是我救恩的磐石。’我还要立他作长子，作地上君王中的至高者。我要向他持守我的慈爱，直到永远；我与他所立的约也必坚定。我要坚立他的后裔，直到永远；使他的宝座如天之久。如果他的子孙离弃我的律法，不照着我的法规而行；如果他们亵渎我的律例，不遵守我的诫命；我就要用杖惩罚他们的过犯，用鞭惩罚他们的罪孽。然而，我不会从他身上收回我的慈爱，也不会背弃我的信实。我不会违背我的约，也不会改变我口中所出的话。我曾指着我的圣洁起过一次誓，我绝不对大卫说谎。他的后裔将长存，直到永远；他的宝座在我面前如同太阳，又如月亮永远确立，像是天上确实的见证。”细拉

父爱子，把一切都交在他手里了。

有声音从云中传来，说：“这是我的儿子，我所拣选的。你们当听从他！”

他将要为大，被称为至高者的儿子；主、神要把他先祖大卫的王位赐给他。
