I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never take my love away from him, as I took it away from your predecessor.

神曾对哪一个天使说过：“你是我的儿子，我今日生了你”呢？或者说：“我要作他的父亲，他要作我的儿子”呢？

他要为我建造殿宇，我必坚立他的王位，直到永远。

你们要侧耳而听，要到我这里来；你们要听，就可以存活；我必与你们立永远的约，就是应许赐给大卫的那确实的慈爱。

撒母耳就对他说：“今天耶和华把以色列国从你身上撕裂，赐给比你更好的人。

受膏者说：“我要宣告耶和华的谕旨：耶和华对我说：‘你是我的儿子，我今日生了你。

你们要用嘴亲吻子，否则他一发怒，你们就在路上灭亡，因为他的怒气快要发作。凡是投靠他的，都是有福的。

没有求问耶和华，所以耶和华把他杀死了，把国位转给耶西的儿子大卫。

“我要作你们的父亲，你们要作我的儿女。这是全能的主说的。”

然而，为了你父亲大卫的缘故，我不会在你有生之日作这事，我要从你儿子的手中把国夺去。只是我不把整个国家夺去，为了我的仆人大卫的缘故，又为了我所拣选的耶路撒冷的缘故，我要给你的儿子留下一个支派。”

他必呼叫我，说：‘你是我的父、我的神、拯救我的磐石。’我也要立他为长子，为世上最高的君王。我要永远保持我对他的慈爱，我和他所立的约必坚立。我要使他的后裔存到永远，使他的王位好像天一样长久。如果他的子孙离弃我的律法，不照着我的典章而行；如果他们违背我的律例，不遵守我的诫命，我就用杖责罚他们的过犯，用鞭责罚他们的罪孽。但我必不把我的慈爱从他身上收回，也必不背弃我的信实。我必不违背我的约，也不改变我口中所出的话。我断然指着自己的圣洁起誓，说：‘我决不向大卫说谎。他的后裔必存到永远，他的王位在我面前必像太阳长存，又像月亮永远坚立，作天上确实的见证。’”（细拉）

我要作他的父亲，他要作我的儿子，他若是犯了罪，我要用人的刑杖、用世人的鞭子纠正他。但我的慈爱必不离开他，像离开在你面前的扫罗一样。你的家和你的王国，也必在我(按照《马索拉文本》，「我」作「你」；现参照其他抄本及古译本翻译)的面前永远坚定，你的王位也必永远坚立。’”

至于所罗门的儿子，我要给他一个支派，好使我的仆人大卫在我所拣选立我名的城耶路撒冷，在我面前常常有灯光。

父爱子，已经把万有交在他手里。

有声音从云彩里出来，说：“这是我的儿子，我所拣选的（“这是我的儿子，我所拣选的”有些抄本作“这是我的爱子”），你们要听从他！”

他将要被尊为大，称为至高者的儿子，主神要把他祖大卫的王位赐给他，
