我的心哪，你要称颂耶和华！不可忘记他一切的恩惠！

惟独耶和华—以色列的上帝能行奇事，他是应当称颂的！

大卫吩咐利未人的领袖派他们歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和钹的乐器奏乐，欢欢喜喜地大声歌颂。

那人说：“你的名字不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列，因为你与上帝和人较力，都得胜了。”

你们要称谢耶和华，求告他的名，在万民中传扬他的作为！

所罗门说：“耶和华—以色列的上帝是应当称颂的！因他亲口向我父大卫应许的，也亲手成就了；他曾说：

大卫召集以色列的众领袖、祭司和利未人。利未人三十岁以上的都被数点，他们男丁的数目共有三万八千；其中有二万四千人管理耶和华殿的事务，有六千人作官长和审判官，有四千人作门口的守卫，又有四千人颂赞耶和华，用大卫造的乐器来颂赞。大卫把利未人革顺、哥辖、米拉利的子孙分了班次。

耶和华对亚伦说：“你和你的儿子，以及你父家的人，要一同担当干犯圣所的罪孽；你和你的儿子也要担当干犯祭司职分的罪孽。你也要带你弟兄利未人，就是你父系支派的人前来，与你联合，服事你。你和你的儿子要一起在法柜的帐幕前；他们要遵守你的吩咐，负责看守整个帐幕，只是不可挨近圣所的器具和祭坛，免得他们和你们都死亡。他们要与你联合，负责看守会幕和帐幕一切的事；只是外人不可挨近你们。你们要负责看守圣所和祭坛，免得愤怒再临到以色列人。看哪，我已从以色列人中选了你们的弟兄利未人，交给你们为赏赐，归给耶和华，为要在会幕里事奉。

上帝啊，求你快快搭救我！耶和华啊，求你速速帮助我！

不要为作恶的心怀不平，也不要嫉妒那行不义的人。

雅各在那里筑了一座坛，起名叫伊利‧伊罗伊‧以色列。

耶路撒冷啊，我在你城墙上设立守望者，他们昼夜不停地呼喊。呼求耶和华的啊，你们不要歇息，也不要使他歇息，直等他建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷在地上为人所赞美。
