我的心哪，你要稱頌耶和華！不可忘記他一切的恩惠！

惟獨耶和華－以色列的神能行奇事，他是應當稱頌的！

大衛吩咐利未人的領袖派他們歌唱的弟兄用琴瑟和鈸的樂器奏樂，歡歡喜喜地大聲歌頌。

那人說：「你的名字不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列，因為你與神和人較力，都得勝了。」

你們要稱謝耶和華，求告他的名，在萬民中傳揚他的作為！

所羅門說：「耶和華－以色列的神是應當稱頌的！因他親口向我父大衛應許的，也親手成就了；他曾說：

大衛召集以色列的眾領袖、祭司和利未人。利未人三十歲以上的都被數點，他們男丁的數目共有三萬八千；其中有二萬四千人管理耶和華殿的事務，有六千人作官長和審判官，有四千人作門口的守衛，又有四千人頌讚耶和華，用大衛造的樂器來頌讚。大衛把利未人革順、哥轄、米拉利的子孫分了班次。

耶和華對亞倫說：「你和你的兒子，以及你父家的人，要一同擔當干犯聖所的罪孽；你和你的兒子也要擔當干犯祭司職分的罪孽。你也要帶你弟兄利未人，就是你父系支派的人前來，與你聯合，服事你。你和你的兒子要一起在法櫃的帳幕前；他們要遵守你的吩咐，負責看守整個帳幕，只是不可挨近聖所的器具和祭壇，免得他們和你們都死亡。他們要與你聯合，負責看守會幕和帳幕一切的事；只是外人不可挨近你們。你們要負責看守聖所和祭壇，免得憤怒再臨到以色列人。看哪，我已從以色列人中選了你們的弟兄利未人，交給你們為賞賜，歸給耶和華，為要在會幕裏事奉。

神啊，求你快快搭救我！耶和華啊，求你速速幫助我！

不要為作惡的心懷不平，也不要嫉妒那行不義的人。

雅各在那裏築了一座壇，起名叫伊利‧伊羅伊‧以色列。

耶路撒冷啊，我在你城牆上設立守望者，他們晝夜不停地呼喊。呼求耶和華的啊，你們不要歇息，也不要使他歇息，直等他建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷在地上為人所讚美。
