“你们要称谢耶和华，呼求祂的名，在列邦传扬祂的作为。

说：“以色列的上帝耶和华当受称颂！祂亲口给我父大卫的应许，现在祂亲手成就了！

他召集了以色列的众首领、祭司和利未人。凡三十岁以上的利未人都在统计之列，共有三万八千男子，其中有两万四千人在耶和华的殿里司职，六千人做官长和审判官，四千人守门，四千人用大卫提供的乐器颂赞耶和华。大卫将利未人革顺、哥辖和米拉利的子孙分成班次。

耶和华对亚伦说：“你和你的儿子及亲族要承担触犯圣所的罪责；你和你儿子也要承担触犯祭司职务的罪责。你和你儿子在安放约柜的圣幕供职时，要把你们利未支派的亲族也一同带去，让他们协助你。他们要遵守你的吩咐，看守整个圣幕，但不可接近圣所的器具和祭坛，以免他们和你们都死亡。他们要协助你，负责看守圣幕，办理圣幕的一切事务。外人不可靠近。你们要看守圣所和祭坛，以免我的愤怒再临到以色列人。我已从以色列人中选出你们的利未亲族归给我，协助你们在会幕中司职。

上帝啊，求你快快拯救我；耶和华啊，求你速速帮助我。

不要因为恶人而烦恼，也不要羡慕作恶之人，

雅各在那里筑了一座坛，称之为伊利·伊罗伊·以色列。

耶路撒冷啊，我已在你城墙上设立守望者。他们昼夜不停地祷告。呼求耶和华的人啊，你们不可歇息，要常常敦促祂，直到祂建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷成为普世歌颂的城。
