He assigned Obed-edom and his sixty-eight relatives. Obed-edom son of Jeduthun and Hosah were to be gatekeepers.

又派俄别以东和他的弟兄六十八人，与耶杜顿的儿子俄别以东，并何萨作守门的；

又有俄别‧以东和他的弟兄六十八人；耶杜顿的儿子俄别‧以东，以及何萨作门口的守卫。

阿伯以東、及其同宗、六十八人、助其工作。耶土頓子阿伯以東、及何薩為閽人。

又使俄別以東與其同族六十八人、與耶度頓子俄別以東及何薩、為守門者、

He also left Obed-Edom and his sixty-eight associates to minister with them. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and also Hosah, were gatekeepers.

David also left Obed- Edom and his 68 helpers to serve with them. Obed- Edom and Hosah guarded the gates. Obed- Edom was the son of Jeduthun.

This group included Obed edom( son of Jeduthun), Hosah, and sixty eight other Levites as gatekeepers.

and Obed-Edom with his sixty-eight brethren, including Obed-Edom the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, to be gatekeepers;

and Obed- edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed- edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

including Obed-Edom and sixty-eight colleagues. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun and Hosah were gatekeepers.

Hosah, from the Merarites, also had sons: Shimri the first( although he was not the firstborn, his father had appointed him as the first),

The ark of God remained with Obed-edom’s family in his house for three months, and the LORD blessed his family and all that he had.

Obed-edom also had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sachar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, and Peullethai the eighth, for God blessed him.Also, to his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled their ancestral families because they were strong, capable men.Shemaiah’s sons: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; his relatives Elihu and Semachiah were also capable men.All of these were among the sons of Obed-edom with their sons and relatives; they were capable men with strength for the work— sixty-two from Obed-edom.

From Jeduthun: Jeduthun’s sons: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah— six— under the authority of their father Jeduthun, prophesying to the accompaniment of lyres, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.
