The heavens praise your wonders, Lord, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones.For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; he is more awesome than all who surround him.Who is like you, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.

Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb.

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary.

Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever,the twenty- four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:“ You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

May the kings of Tarshish and of distant shores bring tribute to him. May the kings of Sheba and Seba present him gifts.

“ And you, son of man, on the day I take away their stronghold, their joy and glory, the delight of their eyes, their heart’s desire, and their sons and daughters as well—

saying:“ Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”

After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:“ Give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures forever.”

Herds of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. And all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and incense and proclaiming the praise of the Lord.All Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve you; they will be accepted as offerings on my altar, and I will adorn my glorious temple.

They took pride in their beautiful jewelry and used it to make their detestable idols. They made it into vile images; therefore I will make it a thing unclean for them.

“ As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name—for they will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm— when they come and pray toward this temple,then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.

Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.And he has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his faithful servants, of Israel, the people close to his heart. Praise the Lord.

From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.

In a loud voice they were saying:“ Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:“ To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”The four living creatures said,“ Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Rebuke the beast among the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the nations. Humbled, may the beast bring bars of silver. Scatter the nations who delight in war.Envoys will come from Egypt; Cush will submit herself to God.
