He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, and to the people of Israel as a never ending covenant:

He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

He made it stand as a law for Jacob. He made it stand as a covenant for Israel. It will last forever.

which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,

and confirmed to Jacob as a decree, and to Israel as a permanent covenant:

He also confirmed it to Jacob as a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

and confirmed to Jacob as a decree, and to Israel as an everlasting covenant:

And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law,[ and] to Israel[ for] an everlasting covenant,

He gave it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as a lasting promise,

He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

Then God said,“ I am El Shaddai—‘ God Almighty.’ Be fruitful and multiply. You will become a great nation, even many nations. Kings will be among your descendants!And I will give you the land I once gave to Abraham and Isaac. Yes, I will give it to you and your descendants after you.”

I have promised to rescue you from your oppression in Egypt. I will lead you to a land flowing with milk and honey— the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”’

“ Remind the people of Judah and Jerusalem about the terms of my covenant with them.

Now may the God of peace— who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—

“ When you crossed the Jordan River and came to Jericho, the men of Jericho fought against you, as did the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. But I gave you victory over them.And I sent terror ahead of you to drive out the two kings of the Amorites. It was not your swords or bows that brought you victory.I gave you land you had not worked on, and I gave you towns you did not build— the towns where you are now living. I gave you vineyards and olive groves for food, though you did not plant them.

“ I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you.And I will give the entire land of Canaan, where you now live as a foreigner, to you and your descendants. It will be their possession forever, and I will be their God.”

“ Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David.

They did not keep God’s covenant and refused to live by his instructions.

“ Is it not my family God has chosen? Yes, he has made an everlasting covenant with me. His agreement is arranged and guaranteed in every detail. He will ensure my safety and success.
