As the ark of the covenant of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David dancing and celebrating, she despised him in her heart.

The ark of the covenant of the Lord was brought into the City of David. Saul’s daughter Michal was watching from a window. She saw King David dancing and celebrating. That made her hate him in her heart.

And as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.

But as the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant entered the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looked down from her window. When she saw King David skipping about and laughing with joy, she was filled with contempt for him.

As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the city of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from the window and saw King David leaping and dancing, and she despised him in her heart.

When the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating; and she despised him in her heart.

And it happened, as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the City of David, that Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David whirling and playing music; and she despised him in her heart.

And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of Jehovah came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

As the ark of the LORD’s covenant entered the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked out the window. When she saw King David jumping and celebrating, she despised him.

As the ark of Yahweh’s covenant came to David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

大卫回去要为家里的人祝福，扫罗的女儿米甲出来迎接他，说：“以色列王今日有好大的荣耀啊！他今日在臣仆的使女眼前露体，如同一个无赖赤身露体一样。”大卫对米甲说：“这是在耶和华面前的。耶和华已拣选我，在你父和你父的全家之上，立我作耶和华百姓以色列的君王，所以我在耶和华面前跳舞，我也必更加卑微，自己看为低贱。至于你所说的那些使女，她们反而尊重我。”扫罗的女儿米甲，直到死的那日没有孩子。

你们在国中生养众多的时候，那些日子，人必不再提说耶和华的约柜，不追想，不记念，不觉缺少，也不再制造。这是耶和华说的。

有金香坛和四周包金的约柜，柜里有盛吗哪的金罐、亚伦那根发过芽的杖和两块约版；

大卫说：“好！我与你立约。但有一件事我要求你，你来见我面的时候，除非把扫罗的女儿米甲带来，就不必来见我的面了。”大卫派使者到扫罗的儿子伊施‧波设那里，说：“你要把我的妻子米甲归还我；她是我从前用一百非利士人的包皮所聘定的。”

扫罗派一些使者到大卫的房屋那里守着他，等到天亮要杀他。大卫的妻子米甲对大卫说：“你今夜若不逃命，明日就要被杀。”于是米甲将大卫从窗户缒下去，让他走；大卫就逃走，躲起来了。米甲把家中的神像放在床上，头枕在山羊毛的枕头上，用衣服盖起来。扫罗派一些使者去捉拿大卫，米甲说：“他病了。”扫罗又派一些使者去看大卫，说：“把他连床一起抬到我这里，我好杀他。”使者进去，看哪，神像在床上，头枕在山羊毛的枕头上。扫罗对米甲说：“你为什么这样欺骗我，放我仇敌逃走呢？”米甲对扫罗说：“他对我说：‘你放我走吧，我何必要杀你呢？’”

扫罗已把他的女儿米甲，就是大卫的妻子，给了迦琳人拉亿的儿子帕提为妻。

以色列人去求问耶和华；那时，上帝的约柜在那里。

以色列人离开耶和华的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和华的约柜在前面行了三天的路程，为他们寻找安歇的地方。

那时，米利暗女先知，亚伦的姊姊，手里拿着铃鼓；众妇女也跟她出去打鼓跳舞。

必有感谢和欢乐的声音从其中发出，我使他们增多，不致减少；使他们尊荣，不致卑微。

你们就对他们说：‘这是因为约旦河的水在耶和华的约柜前中断；约柜过约旦河的时候，约旦河的水就中断了。这些石头要作以色列人永远的纪念。’”

然而，属血气的人不接受上帝的灵的事，他反倒以这为愚拙，并且他不能了解，因为这些事惟有属灵的人才能领悟。

大卫和跟随他的人起来前往，杀了二百非利士人，将包皮足数交给王，为要作王的女婿。于是扫罗将女儿米甲嫁给大卫。扫罗见耶和华与大卫同在，女儿米甲又爱大卫，

击鼓跳舞赞美他！用丝弦的乐器和箫的声音赞美他！

“把这律法书拿来，放在耶和华—你们上帝的约柜旁，可以在那里作指责你们的见证。

哭有时，笑有时；哀恸有时，跳舞有时；

因我为你的缘故受了辱骂，满面羞愧。我的兄弟把我当陌生人，我母亲的儿子把我当外邦人。因我为你的殿心里焦急，如同火烧，并且辱骂你的人的辱骂都落在我身上。

百姓回到营里，以色列的长老说：“耶和华今日为何使我们败在非利士人面前呢？我们要将耶和华的约柜从示罗抬到我们这里来，好让他来到我们中间，救我们脱离敌人的手掌。”

愿他们跳舞赞美他的名，击鼓弹琴歌颂他！

如果我们癫狂，是为上帝；如果我们清醒，是为你们。

欢喜和快乐的声音、新郎和新娘的声音，并听见有人说：你们要称谢万军之耶和华，因耶和华本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！他们奉感谢祭到耶和华的殿中；因为我必使这地被掳的人归回，如起初一样。这是耶和华说的。”

还有人讥诮，说：“他们是灌满了新酒吧！”

你将我的哀哭变为跳舞，脱去我的麻衣，为我披上喜乐，

大卫住在自己宫中，对拿单先知说：“看哪，我住在香柏木的宫中，耶和华的约柜却在幔子里。”
