As the ark of the covenant of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David dancing and celebrating, she despised him in her heart.

The ark of the covenant of the Lord was brought into the City of David. Saul’s daughter Michal was watching from a window. She saw King David dancing and celebrating. That made her hate him in her heart.

And as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.

But as the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant entered the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looked down from her window. When she saw King David skipping about and laughing with joy, she was filled with contempt for him.

As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the city of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from the window and saw King David leaping and dancing, and she despised him in her heart.

When the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating; and she despised him in her heart.

And it happened, as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the City of David, that Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David whirling and playing music; and she despised him in her heart.

And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of Jehovah came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

As the ark of the LORD’s covenant entered the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked out the window. When she saw King David jumping and celebrating, she despised him.

As the ark of Yahweh’s covenant came to David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

大卫回到家为自己的家人祝福，米甲出来迎接他，说：“今天以色列王好光彩呀！居然像个粗俗之人，在臣仆和婢女面前露体！”大卫对她说：“我是在耶和华面前跳舞。祂不用你父亲和你父亲家里的人，而是选立我来治理祂的以色列子民，所以我要在祂面前欢庆。我要让自己更卑微，自视低贱，但你说的那些婢女会尊重我。”扫罗的女儿米甲终生都没有生育。

耶和华的约柜进大卫城的时候，扫罗的女儿米甲从窗户看见大卫在耶和华面前又跳又舞，心里就轻视他。

你们在地上繁衍昌盛的时候，人们不会再提及耶和华的约柜，不会再把它放在心上，不会再感到需要它，也不会再造一个。这是耶和华说的。

里面有纯金的香坛和包金的约柜。约柜里珍藏着盛吗哪的金罐、亚伦那根发过芽的手杖和两块刻着十诫的石版，

大卫回答说：“好，但你一定要把扫罗的女儿米甲带来才能见我。”于是，大卫派使者去见扫罗的儿子伊施波设说：“请把我的妻子米甲送回来，因为她是我用一百个非利士人的包皮作聘礼娶来的。”

扫罗派人监视大卫的家，要在早上杀死他。大卫的妻子米甲警告他说：“如果你今晚不逃命，明早必死无疑。”于是，她从窗口把大卫缒下去，让他逃走了。然后她把家中的神像放在床上，头枕在山羊毛的枕头上，盖上被子。扫罗派人来捉拿大卫的时候，米甲说他病了。扫罗又派人去见大卫，并吩咐说：“把他连床一起抬来，我好杀他。”众人进去发现躺在床上的是一个神像，头枕在山羊毛的枕头上。扫罗问米甲：“你为什么欺骗我，让我的敌人逃走？”米甲答道：“他说如果我不让他逃走，就杀了我。”

扫罗已经把自己的女儿——大卫的妻子米甲嫁给了迦琳人拉亿的儿子帕提。

那时，上帝的约柜就在那里，亚伦的孙子、以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈任祭司。以色列人求问耶和华，说：“我们应该再去攻打我们的同胞便雅悯人吗？还是退兵？”耶和华说：“去攻打吧，因为明天我必把他们交在你们手中。”

以色列人离开耶和华的山，走了三天的路程，期间耶和华的约柜一直在队伍的前头，为他们寻找安营之地。

亚伦的姐姐米利暗是个先知，她手拿小鼓，带领妇女击鼓跳舞，

那里必传出感谢和欢乐的声音。我必使他们的人口增加，不再减少；我必使他们得享尊荣，不再受歧视。

你们就告诉他们，‘约旦河水在耶和华的约柜前曾经被截断，当约柜过河的时候，河水被截断了。这些石头要在以色列人当中作为永久的纪念。’”

然而，属血气的人不接受从上帝来的圣灵的教导，认为愚不可及，无法明白，因为只有属灵的人才能参透。

大卫和部下出去杀了二百个非利士人，把他们的包皮献给扫罗，好做王的女婿。扫罗便把女儿米甲嫁给了大卫。扫罗知道耶和华与大卫同在，自己的女儿米甲也爱他，

要击鼓跳舞赞美祂，要拨弦吹笛赞美祂！

“把这律法书放在你们的上帝耶和华的约柜旁，作为指控你们的证据。

哭泣有时，欢笑有时；哀伤有时，雀跃有时；

我为了你的缘故遭受辱骂，羞辱满面。我的弟兄视我为陌生人，我的手足看我为外人。我对你的殿充满炙热的爱，辱骂你之人的辱骂都落在我身上。

军队回营后，以色列的长老说：“为什么今天耶和华使我们败在非利士人手下？我们从示罗把耶和华的约柜抬来吧，让它与我们同去，好从仇敌手中救我们。”

愿他们跳舞赞美祂的名，击鼓弹琴歌颂祂。

如果我们疯狂，那是为了上帝；如果我们清醒，那是为了你们。

但这些地方必传出欢乐声、新郎新娘的欢笑声和在耶和华殿中献感恩祭者的歌唱声，“‘要感谢万军之耶和华，因为耶和华是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存’。因为我必使被掳的人回到故土，重建家园。这是耶和华说的。”

有些人就讥笑说：“他们不过是被新酒灌醉了！”

你把我的哀哭变成了舞步，为我脱下悲伤的麻衣，披上喜乐的外袍，

大卫住进宫殿后，对拿单先知说：“你看，我住在香柏木建的王宫中，耶和华的约柜却在帐篷里。”
