大闢曰、耶和華簡利未人、舁上帝匱、供其役事、歷代勿替、自是舁匱、必以利未人。

那時大衛說：「除了利未人之外，無人可擡神的約櫃；因為耶和華揀選他們擡神的約櫃，且永遠事奉他。」

那時大衛說：「除了利未人之外，無人可抬上帝的約櫃，因為耶和華揀選他們抬上帝的約櫃，永遠事奉他。」

那時大衛說：「除了利未人之外，無人可抬神的約櫃，因為耶和華揀選他們抬神的約櫃，永遠事奉他。」

大衛說：「除了利未人以外，誰也不可抬上帝的約櫃，因為耶和華只揀選他們抬上帝的約櫃，永遠事奉祂。」

大衛曰、耶和華既簡利未人舁上帝匱、永久奉事之、他人不可舁也、

其時大衛曰、利未人之外、無人可舁天主之匱、因主特選利未人、舁天主之匱、且奉事之、至於永遠、

Then David said,“ No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the Lord chose them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister before him forever.”

He said,“ Only Levites can carry the ark of God. That’s because the Lord chose them to carry his ark. He chose them to serve him forever in front of the place where his throne is.”

Then David said that no one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, for the Lord had chosen them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister to him forever.

Then he commanded,“ No one except the Levites may carry the Ark of God. The Lord has chosen them to carry the Ark of the Lord and to serve him forever.”

Then David said,“ No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the LORD has chosen them to carry the ark of the LORD and to minister before him forever.”

Then David said,“ No one is to carry the ark of God except the Levites; for the Lord chose them to carry the ark of the Lord and to serve Him forever.”

Then David said,“ No one may carry the ark of God but the Levites, for the Lord has chosen them to carry the ark of God and to minister before Him forever.”

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath Jehovah chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Then David said,“ No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the Lord has chosen them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister before Him forever.”

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Then David said,“ Only the Levites may carry the ark of God, for the LORD chose them to carry the ark of the LORD and to serve before him perpetually.

Then David said,“ No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For Yahweh has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”

當時耶和華、區別利未支派、使舁耶和華約匱、立於其前、以奉事之、籲其名而頌禱、即以今日之事為證。

耶和華又曰、大闢必有後、踐以色列國位。祭司利未人、未嘗乏人、常獻燔祭禮物於我前。耶和華諭耶利米曰、我已立約、晝夜不失其時、如此約可廢。則我與僕大闢約、言必有後、以踐國位、及我與利未人祭司約、言不乏人、以服事我、斯約亦可廢。天象不可測、海沙不能度、我僕大闢之裔、及服事我之利未人必使繁衍、亦若是。

耶和華諭亞倫曰、爾及子孫眷屬、如干犯聖室者、必負其罪、爾及子孫為祭司而溺職者、亦必負其罪。爾及子孫、在法匱前、會幕中、供其役事、亦可取利未族諸兄弟、歸之於己、以為輔翼。助爾守會幕、惟不可近聖室、及祭壇器皿、恐爾與彼、俱致死亡。利未人可偕爾守會幕、供諸役事、外人勿近其前。聖室祭壇、爾當恪守、則以色列族免我震怒。我於以色列族中、取爾兄弟利未人、賜之於汝、以供會幕役事。爾及子孫、宜守祭司之職、壇前簾內、供其役事、蓋我畀爾為祭司、外人近前、必致死亡。○耶和華諭亞倫曰、以色列族以成聖之禮物、舉而獻我、我賜爾得之、爾既受膏、是物歸爾、爰及子孫、著為永例。

摩西書此律法予諸祭司、及舁耶和華法匱之利未人、暨以色列族長老、

使利未人、自二十五歲以上、入會幕、以供役事、至於五十、乃罷其役、可偕兄弟同守會幕、毋再役事、爾待利未人當若此。

利未族中、哥轄子孫、循其世系宗族、自三十歲至五十、能從事於會幕者、宜核其數。其所負者、會幕、至聖之什物、遄征之時、亞倫及其子、宜近前、除簾以掩法匱、施貂皮其上、覆以紫布、貫杠於旁。几上覆以紫布、盤鼎、壺、盂、以為灌奠、我前恆陳之餅、悉置其上。蓋以絳布、覆以貂皮、貫杠於旁。以紫布蓋燈臺、及盞、剪、盤、與所用之油器、覆以貂皮、悉置於板。以紫布蓋金壇、施貂皮其上、貫杠於旁。聖室所用之器皿、以供役事者、蓋以紫布、施貂皮其上、悉置於板。祭壇之灰必棄、覆以赤布、置鼎、鈎、鍫、盂、及壇上所用器皿、以供役事者、悉置於壇、施貂皮其上、貫杠於旁。以色列族遄征時、亞倫及其子、蓋聖室諸器皿、既畢其事、則哥轄子孫可前以舁、惟不可捫聖物、恐致死亡、今所言者、哥轄子孫、當負戴會幕之什物、

爾見祭司利未人、舁爾上帝耶和華法匱、則必遄征、從行其後、

爾必使利未人、立於亞倫及其子前、奉之於我、於是爾可區別利未人與以色列族、使之歸我。

哥轄子孫於聖室之什物、以肩負荷、故不給以車。

嫩之子約書亞召祭司曰、當舁法匱、爾曹七人、以角七、行於耶和華法匱前、

我自其中、簡人為祭司、為利未人。

利未人潔己、奉事耶和華、以其道訓迪以色列人、約西亞告之曰、以色列王大闢子所羅門所建之殿、當置聖匱於中、毋庸肩負、役事爾之上帝耶和華、輔翼以色列民、
