利未支派的子孙照着耶和华的话，就是摩西所吩咐的，用肩和杠来抬神的约柜。

利未子孙就用杠，肩抬神的约柜，是照耶和华藉摩西所吩咐的。

又铸造了四个金环，安放在柜的四脚上，这一边两个环，那一边两个环。又用皂荚木做了两根柜杠，包上黄金。把杠穿在柜旁的环内，可以抬柜。

那两根杠很长，在内殿前可以看见约柜那里的杠头，在殿外却看不见；直到今日，那两根杠还在那里。

你要铸造四个金环，安放在柜的四脚上，两个环在这边，两个环在那边。你要用皂荚木做几根柜杠，并要用金包裹起来。你要把柜杠穿在柜旁的环中，以便用杠抬柜。柜杠要常留在柜的环中，不可抽出环外。

这些杠很长，在内殿前的圣所可以看见杠头，在殿外却看不见；直到今日，这些杠还在那里。

起营出发的时候，亚伦和他的儿子要进去，把遮盖至圣所的幔子卸下来，用来遮盖约柜；又把海狗皮罩盖在上面，再铺上纯蓝色的布，然后把杠穿上。

摩西拿了法版，放在柜里，把杠穿在柜的两旁，把施恩座安放在约柜上面。
