He said to them,“ You are the heads of the Levite families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves so that you may bring the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it.

對他們說：『你們是利未人父系的首長；你們和你們的族弟兄都應當潔淨自己為聖，好將以色列之上帝、永恆主的櫃、接上來到我所給豫備的地方。

He said to them,“ You are the heads of the Levitical families; you and your fellow Levites are to consecrate yourselves and bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.

He said to them,“ You are the leaders of the families of Levi. You and the other Levites must set yourselves apart to serve the Lord and his people. You must carry up the ark of the Lord. He is the God of Israel. Put the ark in the place I’ve prepared for it.

and said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites. Consecrate yourselves, you and your brothers, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place that I have prepared for it.

He said to them,“ You are the leaders of the Levite families. You must purify yourselves and all your fellow Levites, so you can bring the Ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.

He said to them,“ You are the heads of the Levite families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves so that you may bring the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it.

and he said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites; consecrate yourselves, you and your relatives, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it.

He said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it.

and said unto them, Ye are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of Jehovah, the God of Israel, unto the place that I have prepared for it.

And said unto them, Ye[ are] the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves,[ both] ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto[ the place that] I have prepared for it.

He told them:“ You are the leaders of the Levites’ families. You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves and bring the ark of the LORD God of Israel up to the place I have prepared for it.

and said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

Slaughter the Passover lambs, consecrate yourselves, and make preparations for your brothers to carry out the word of the Lord through Moses.”

Then Moses came down from the mountain to the people and consecrated them, and they washed their clothes.He said to the people,“ Be prepared by the third day. Do not have sexual relations with women.”

So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel.

They slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and Levites were ashamed, and they consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings to the Lord’s temple.

These were the heads of the Levite families, chiefs according to their genealogies, and lived in Jerusalem.

Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.

Now all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves regardless of their divisions. When the priests came out of the holy place,

David built houses for himself in the city of David, and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.

They also cast lots the same way as their relatives the sons of Aaron did in the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the families of the priests and Levites— the family heads and their younger brothers alike.

And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slaughtered, and You redeemed people for God by Your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.

Then he brought in the priests and Levites and gathered them in the eastern public square.He said to them,“ Hear me, Levites. Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of Yahweh, the God of your ancestors. Remove everything impure from the holy place.

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring the ark of the Lord to the place he had prepared for it.

It is for the consecrated priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept My charge and did not go astray as the Levites did when the Israelites went astray.
