And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah,[ that is], to Kirjathjearim, which[ belonged] to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth[ between] the cherubims, whose name is called[ on it].

David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim— the ark that is called by the Name.

David went to Baalah of Judah. The whole community of Israel went with him. Baalah is also called Kiriath Jearim. All the people went there to get the ark of God the Lord. He sits on his throne between the cherubim. The ark is named after the Lord.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who sits enthroned above the cherubim.

Then David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( also called Kiriath jearim) to bring back the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord who is enthroned between the cherubim.

And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest[ between] the cherubims, thou art the God,[ even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which[ are] upon the ark of the testimony, of all[ things] which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth[ between] the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas,[ were] there with the ark of the covenant of God.

Kirjathbaal, which[ is] Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name[ is] in him.

And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that[ was] upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest[ between] the cherubims, shine forth.

An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.

And David arose, and went with all the people that[ were] with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth[ between] the cherubims.And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that[ was] in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which[ was] at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of[ instruments made of] fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth[ his hand] to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook[ it].And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for[ his] error; and there he died by the ark of God.And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest[ between] the cherubims, thou[ art] the God,[ even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.

The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth[ between] the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
