俄別．以東有幾個兒子：長子是示瑪雅、次子是約薩拔、三子是約亞，四子是沙甲、五子是拿坦業、

和他們一起的還有作第二班的，他們的親族：撒迦利雅、便、雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅，以及守門的俄別．以東和耶利。

於是大衛不肯把耶和華的約櫃運進大衛的城到他那裡去，卻轉運到迦特人俄別‧以東的家裡去。耶和華的約櫃在迦特人俄別‧以東的家停留了三個月，耶和華賜福給俄別‧以東和他的全家。

這些人都是俄別．以東的子孫，他們和他們的兒子、兄弟，都是有能力辦事的人。俄別．以東的子孫，共有六十二人。

比錄人原先逃到基他音，就在那裡寄居，直到今日。）
