皆係武士、能守行伍、忠乃心、至希伯崙、欲立大闢為王、治以色列族、斯土餘民、亦同此心、

皆戰士能守行伍、誠心誠意至希伯崙、欲立大衛為以色列眾人之王、以色列餘民、亦一心欲立大衛為王、

All these were fighting men who volunteered to serve in the ranks. They came to Hebron fully determined to make David king over all Israel. All the rest of the Israelites were also of one mind to make David king.

of Zebulun there were fifty thousand who went out to battle, expert in war with all weapons of war, stouthearted men who could keep ranks;

He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him?The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

“ Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the Lord.
