皆係武士、能守行伍、忠乃心、至希伯崙、欲立大闢為王、治以色列族、斯土餘民、亦同此心、

All these fighting men offered to serve in the army. Before they came to Hebron, they had agreed completely to make David king over all the Israelites. All the rest of the people also agreed to make David king.

from Zebulun, experienced soldiers prepared for battle with every type of weapon, to help David with undivided loyalty— 50,000;

As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been.

Also in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the Lord.
