当时，神的灵降在那三十个勇士的首领亚玛撒身上，他就说：“大卫啊，我们是来归从你；耶西的儿子啊，我们是来跟随你；愿你平平安安，愿帮助你的人也都平安，因为你的神帮助了你。”于是大卫收留了他们，立他们作军长。

三十首領之魁亞瑪撒、感於神曰、大衛歟、我儕屬爾、耶西子歟、我儕從爾、願爾平康、願助爾者平康、蓋爾上帝助爾也、大衛納之、立為軍長、

武士之魁亞馬賽、為神所感、對曰、我欲歸耶西之子大闢、望上帝祐爾、願爾與助爾者俱獲平康。大闢接之、使為軍長。

諸將之長亞瑪撒、受感於神、曰、大衛歟、我儕歸爾、耶西子歟、我儕助爾、惟平康是務、願爾獲平康、助爾者獲平康、蓋爾之天主祐爾、大衛接之、使為軍長、

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said:“ We are yours, David! We are with you, son of Jesse! Success, success to you, and success to those who help you, for your God will help you.” So David received them and made them leaders of his raiding bands.

The Spirit of God came on Amasai. He was leader of the 30 chiefs. He said,“ David, we belong to you! Son of Jesse, we’re on your side! May you have great success. May those who help you also have success. Your God will help you.” So David welcomed them. He made them leaders in his army.

Then the Spirit clothed Amasai, chief of the thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” Then David received them and made them officers of his troops.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, the leader of the Thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, David! We are on your side, son of Jesse. Peace and prosperity be with you, and success to all who help you, for your God is the one who helps you.” So David let them join him, and he made them officers over his troops.

Then the Spirit enveloped Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said: We are yours, David, we are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to him who helps you, for your God helps you. So David received them and made them leaders of his troops.

Then the Spirit covered Amasai like clothing, the chief of the thirty; and he said,“ We are yours, David, And are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to him who helps you; Indeed, your God helps you!” Then David received them and made them captains of the troops.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said:“ We are yours, O David; We are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” So David received them, and made them captains of the troop.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thy helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

Then the Spirit took control of Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said: We are yours, David, we are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to him who helps you, for your God helps you. So David received them and made them leaders of his troops.

Then the spirit came upon Amasai,[ who was] chief of the captains,[ and he said], Thine[ are we], David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace[ be] unto thee, and peace[ be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

But a spirit empowered Amasai, the leader of the thirty warriors, and he said:“ We are yours, O David! We support you, O son of Jesse! May you greatly prosper! May those who help you prosper! Indeed your God helps you!” So David accepted them and made them leaders of raiding bands.

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, David, and on your side, you son of Jesse. Peace, peace be to you, and peace be to your helpers; for your God helps you.” Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

耶和华的灵降在基甸身上，他就吹角；亚比以谢族都聚集跟随他。

押沙龙立亚玛撒作元帅，代替约押。亚玛撒是以实玛利人以特拉的儿子。以特拉曾与拿辖的女儿亚比该亲近；这亚比该与约押的母亲洗鲁雅是姐妹。

耶稣就对那十二个门徒说：“你们也要去吗？”西门彼得回答说：“主啊，你有永生之道，我们还归从谁呢？

耶和华的灵降在他身上，他就作了以色列的士师，出去争战。耶和华将美索不达米亚王古珊利萨田交在他手中，他便胜了古珊利萨田。

家宰、邑宰，和长老，并教养众子的人，打发人去见耶户，说：“我们是你的仆人，凡你所吩咐我们的都必遵行，我们不立谁作王，你看怎样好就怎样行。”

愿平安、仁爱、信心从父神和主耶稣基督归与弟兄们！并愿所有诚心爱我们主耶稣基督的人都蒙恩惠！

路得说：“不要催我回去不跟随你。你往哪里去，我也往那里去；你在哪里住宿，我也在那里住宿；你的国就是我的国，你的神就是我的神。

凡照此理而行的，愿平安、怜悯加给他们，和神的以色列民。

耶户抬头向窗户观看，说：“谁顺从我？”有两三个太监从窗户往外看他。

不与我相合的，就是敌我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。”

亚比该生亚玛撒；亚玛撒的父亲是以实玛利人益帖。

大卫就打发十个仆人，吩咐他们说：“你们上迦密去见拿八，提我的名问他安。要对那富户如此说：‘愿你平安，愿你家平安，愿你一切所有的都平安。

以太对王说：“我指着永生的耶和华起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：无论生死，王在哪里，仆人也必在那里。”

也要对亚玛撒说：‘你不是我的骨肉吗？我若不立你替约押常作元帅，愿神重重地降罚与我！’”

王对亚玛撒说：“你要在三日之内将犹大人招聚了来，你也回到这里来。”亚玛撒就去招聚犹大人，却耽延过了王所限的日期。大卫对亚比筛说：“现在恐怕比基利的儿子示巴加害于我们比押沙龙更甚。你要带领你主的仆人追赶他，免得他得了坚固城，躲避我们。”约押的人和基利提人、比利提人，并所有的勇士，都跟着亚比筛，从耶路撒冷出去追赶比基利的儿子示巴。他们到了基遍的大磐石那里，亚玛撒来迎接他们。那时约押穿着战衣，腰束佩刀的带子，刀在鞘内；约押前行，刀从鞘内掉出来。

万军之耶和华如此说：在那些日子，必有十个人从列国诸族中出来，拉住一个犹大人的衣襟，说：‘我们要与你们同去，因为我们听见神与你们同在了。’”

又派他们作千夫长、五十夫长，为他耕种田地，收割庄稼，打造军器和车上的器械；

惟有以色列人，所罗门不使他们作奴仆，乃是作他的战士、臣仆、统领、军长、车兵长、马兵长。

求你饶恕婢女的罪过。耶和华必为我主建立坚固的家，因我主为耶和华争战；并且在你平生的日子查不出有什么过来。虽有人起来追逼你，寻索你的性命，你的性命却在耶和华你的神那里蒙保护，如包裹宝器一样；你仇敌的性命，耶和华必抛去，如用机弦甩石一样。

就对左右侍立的臣仆说：“便雅悯人哪，你们要听我的话！耶西的儿子能将田地和葡萄园赐给你们各人吗？能立你们各人作千夫长百夫长吗？

在玛哈尼但，就是琐拉和以实陶中间，耶和华的灵才感动他。

从前扫罗作我们王的时候，率领以色列人出入的是你；耶和华也曾应许你说：‘你必牧养我的民以色列，作以色列的君。’”

他以公义为铠甲，以拯救为头盔，以报仇为衣服，以热心为外袍。
