大衛出去和他們見面，跟他們應對說：『你們若是和和平平地到我這裏來幫助我，我就和你們一心一意；但你們若將我這手無強暴的人騙在敵人手裏，那麼願我們列祖的上帝察看而斷定是非。』

大衛出迓曰、爾若平和而來以助我、則我心與爾相契、我既無辜、爾若鬻我於敵、願我列祖之上帝鑒察之、譴責之、

大闢出迓、告曰、如爾心懷平康、欲來助我、則我與爾和好。如欲欺我、付無辜於敵手、則望列祖之上帝、加以督責。

大衛出迎、謂之曰、爾來意若平善、欲助我、則我願與爾結盟、如欲欺我、將我無辜者付於敵手、願我列祖之天主、鑒察加責、

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in peace to help me, I am ready for you to join me. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when my hands are free from violence, may the God of our ancestors see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them. He said to them,“ Have you come to me in peace? Have you come to help me? If you have, I’m ready for you to join me. But suppose you have come to hand me over to my enemies when I haven’t even harmed anyone. Then may the God of our people see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in friendship to help me, my heart will be joined to you; but if to betray me to my adversaries, although there is no wrong in my hands, then may the God of our fathers see and rebuke you.”

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you have come in peace to help me, we are friends. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when I am innocent, then may the God of our ancestors see it and punish you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

David went out to meet them, and said to them,“ If you come peacefully to help me, my heart shall be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look on it and decide.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if ye be come to betray me to mine adversaries, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if[ ye be come] to betray me to mine enemies, seeing[ there is] no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look[ thereon], and rebuke[ it].

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you come to me in peace and want to help me, then I will make an alliance with you. But if you come to betray me to my enemies when I have not harmed you, may the God of our ancestors take notice and judge!”

David went out to meet them, and answered them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if you have come to betray me to my adversaries, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers see this and rebuke it.”

耶和華啊，求你在怒中起來，挺身而立，抵擋我敵人的烈怒！求你為我興起！你已經發令施行審判。

押尼珥帶着二十個人來到希伯崙大衛那裏，大衛就為押尼珥和他帶來的人擺設宴席。押尼珥對大衛說：「我要起身去召集全以色列，來到我主我王這裏，與你立約，你就可以照你的心願作王，統治一切。」於是大衛送走押尼珥，他就平安地去了。看哪，大衛的僕人和約押突擊回來，帶回許多掠物。那時押尼珥不在希伯崙大衛那裏，因大衛已經送他走，他也平安地去了。約押和跟隨他的全軍到了，有人告訴約押說：「尼珥的兒子押尼珥來到王這裏，王送走他，他也平安地去了。」約押到王那裏，說：「你這是做甚麼呢？看哪，押尼珥來到你這裏，你為何送他走，讓他去了呢？你知道，尼珥的兒子押尼珥來，是要騙你，要打聽你的出入，知道你一切所行的事。」

耶戶從那裏往前行，遇見利甲的兒子約拿達來迎接他，耶戶向他問安，對他說：「你的心，像我的心待你的心那樣正直嗎？」約拿達說：「是。」耶戶說：「若是這樣，請你伸出手來。」他伸出手，耶戶就拉他上車。

今日耶和華將王交在我手裏，我卻不肯伸手害耶和華的受膏者。耶和華必照各人的公義誠實報應他。看哪，我今日看重你的性命，願耶和華也照樣看重我的性命，並且拯救我脫離一切患難。」

最重要的是：你們行事為人要與基督的福音相稱，這樣，無論我來見你們，或不在你們那裏，都可以聽到你們的景況，知道你們同有一個心志，站立得穩，為福音的信仰齊心努力，

願亞伯拉罕的神和拿鶴的神，就是他們父親的神，在你我中間判斷。」雅各就指着他父親以撒所敬畏的神起誓，

弟兄們，我藉我們主耶穌基督的名勸你們說話要一致。你們中間不可分裂，只要一心一意彼此團結。

耶和華啊，求你將你的道指教我，我要照你的真理而行；求你使我專心敬畏你的名！

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，怎麼能平安呢？」

我父啊，請看，看你外袍的衣角在我手中。我割下你外袍的衣角，卻沒有殺你。你知道，並且看見我沒有惡意要悖逆你。你雖然要獵取我的命，我卻沒有得罪你。願耶和華在你我中間判斷，願耶和華在你身上為我伸冤，我卻不親手加害於你。古人有句俗語說：『惡事出於惡人。』我卻不親手加害於你。以色列王出來要尋找誰呢？你要追趕誰呢？不過是一條死狗，一隻跳蚤而已。願耶和華作仲裁者，在你我中間判斷。願他鑒察，為我伸冤，救我脫離你的手。」大衛向掃羅說完了這些話，掃羅說：「我兒大衛，這是你的聲音嗎？」於是掃羅放聲大哭，對大衛說：「你比我公義，因為你以善待我，我卻以惡待你。

我要使他們彼此同心同道，好叫他們永遠敬畏我，使他們和他們後世的子孫得享福樂。

撒母耳遵照耶和華的話去做，來到伯利恆，城裏的長老都戰戰兢兢出來迎接他，有人問他說：「你是為平安來的嗎？」

天使長米迦勒為摩西的屍首與魔鬼爭辯的時候，尚且不敢用毀謗的話譴責他，只說：「主責備你吧！」

耶和華啊，求你幫助，因虔誠人斷絕了，世人中間忠信的人消失了。人人向鄰舍說謊；他們說話嘴唇油滑，心口不一。

哈及的兒子亞多尼雅到所羅門的母親拔示巴那裏，拔示巴問他說：「你是為平安來的嗎？」他說：「為平安來的。」

約拿單愛大衛如同愛自己的性命，就與他立約。

若不是我父親以撒所敬畏的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神與我同在，你如今必定打發我空手而去。神看見我的苦情和我手的辛勞，就在昨夜責備了你。」

大衛對掃羅說完了話，約拿單的心與大衛的心深相契合。約拿單愛大衛，如同愛自己的性命。

許多信徒都一心一意，沒有一人說他的任何東西是自己的，都是大家公用。

他被辱罵不還口，受害也不說威嚇的話，只將自己交託給公義的審判者。

耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」

末了，弟兄們，願你們喜樂。要追求完全；要接受鼓勵；要同心合意；要彼此和睦。如此，慈愛和平的神必與你們同在。
