大衛出去迎見他們，對他們說：“你們若是存著和平的心到我這裡來幫助我，我就與你們結盟，但你們若是把我這無辜的人出賣給我的敵人，就願我們列祖的神鑒察和審判。”

大卫出去迎接他们，对他们说：“你们若是和和平平地来帮助我，我心就与你们相契；你们若是将我这无罪的人卖在敌人手里，愿我们列祖的神察看责罚。”

大衛出迓曰、爾若平和而來以助我、則我心與爾相契、我既無辜、爾若鬻我於敵、願我列祖之上帝鑒察之、譴責之、

大闢出迓、告曰、如爾心懷平康、欲來助我、則我與爾和好。如欲欺我、付無辜於敵手、則望列祖之上帝、加以督責。

大衛出迎、謂之曰、爾來意若平善、欲助我、則我願與爾結盟、如欲欺我、將我無辜者付於敵手、願我列祖之天主、鑒察加責、

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in peace to help me, I am ready for you to join me. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when my hands are free from violence, may the God of our ancestors see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them. He said to them,“ Have you come to me in peace? Have you come to help me? If you have, I’m ready for you to join me. But suppose you have come to hand me over to my enemies when I haven’t even harmed anyone. Then may the God of our people see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in friendship to help me, my heart will be joined to you; but if to betray me to my adversaries, although there is no wrong in my hands, then may the God of our fathers see and rebuke you.”

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you have come in peace to help me, we are friends. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when I am innocent, then may the God of our ancestors see it and punish you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

David went out to meet them, and said to them,“ If you come peacefully to help me, my heart shall be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look on it and decide.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if ye be come to betray me to mine adversaries, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if[ ye be come] to betray me to mine enemies, seeing[ there is] no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look[ thereon], and rebuke[ it].

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you come to me in peace and want to help me, then I will make an alliance with you. But if you come to betray me to my enemies when I have not harmed you, may the God of our ancestors take notice and judge!”

David went out to meet them, and answered them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if you have come to betray me to my adversaries, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers see this and rebuke it.”

耶和華啊！求你在怒中起來，求你挺身而起，抵擋我敵人的暴怒，求你為我興起；你已經出令施行審判。

押尼珥帶著二十個人，來到希伯崙見大衛的時候，大衛就為押尼珥和與他同來的人擺設筵席。後來，押尼珥對大衛說：“讓我去把以色列眾人召集到我主我王這裡來，好叫他們與你立約，這樣你就可以照著自己的心願統治所有的人。”於是大衛打發押尼珥回去，他就平平安安地走了。那時，大衛的臣僕和約押攻擊敵人回來，帶回許多的戰利品。當時，押尼珥不在希伯崙大衛那裡，因為大衛已經打發他離去，他也平平安安地走了。約押和跟隨他的全軍一到達，就有人告訴約押，尼珥的兒子押尼珥曾經來見過王。王打發他離去，他已經平平安安地走了。約押進去見王，說：“你作了甚麼事？押尼珥來見你，你為甚麼把他送走？現在他已經走了。你認識尼珥的兒子押尼珥，他來是要欺騙你，是要了解你的起居行動和你所作的一切事。”

他又從那裡往前行，看見利甲的兒子約拿達來迎接他。耶戶向他請安，然後說：“你的心對我忠誠，就像我的心對你的心一樣嗎？”約拿達說：“是的。”耶戶說：“如果是的話，伸出你的手來。”他伸出他的手，耶戶就把他拉上他的戰車。

耶和華必按著各人的公義和信實報答他；今天耶和華把你交在我手裡，我卻不願伸手傷害耶和華的受膏者。看哪，我今天怎樣看重你的命，願耶和華也怎樣看重我的命，並且救我脫離一切患難。”

不過，你們行事為人（“行事為人”原文也可譯作“作公民”）應當和基督的福音相配。這樣，無論我來見你們或是不在你們中間，都可以聽到你們的情況，就是你們有同一的心志，站立得穩，為了福音的信仰齊心努力，

但願亞伯拉罕的神、拿鶴的神，就是他們父親的神，在我們中間判斷。”雅各就指著他父親以撒所敬畏的神起誓。

弟兄們，我憑著我們主耶穌基督的名，勸你們大家要同心，在你們中間不要分黨，只要在同一的心思、同一的意念上團結起來。

耶和華啊！求你把你的道路指教我，使我行在你的真理中，專心敬畏你的名。

約蘭看見耶戶的時候，就說：“耶戶，平安嗎？”耶戶說：“你的母親耶洗別的淫行和邪術這麼多，還有平安嗎？”

我父啊，請看，你外袍的衣邊在我手中。我割下了你外袍的衣邊，卻沒有殺你。你從此可以知道，也可以看出我手中沒有邪惡，也沒有過犯。我雖然沒有得罪你，你卻要獵取我的性命。願耶和華在你我之間判斷是非；願耶和華在你身上為我伸冤。我的手卻不敢傷害你。正如古時的格言：‘惡事出於惡人。’所以，我的手不敢傷害你。以色列的王出去追捕誰呢？你現在追趕誰呢？不過是追趕一條死狗，一隻跳蚤罷了！願耶和華在你我中間施行審判，斷定是非；願他鑒察，為我的案件伸冤，救我脫離你的手。”大衛對掃羅說完了這些話，掃羅就說：“我兒大衛啊，這是你的聲音嗎？”於是掃羅放聲大哭，對大衛說：“你比我公義，因為你以良善待我，我卻以惡待你。

我要使他們有同一的心志和同一的行為，終生敬畏我，使他們和他們的子孫都得到福樂。

於是撒母耳照著耶和華的話去行。他到了伯利恆的時候，城裡的長老就都戰戰兢兢地出來迎接他，說：“你是為平安來的嗎？”

就是天使長米迦勒為了摩西的屍體與魔鬼爭論的時候，尚且不敢用毀謗的話定他的罪，只說：“主責備你！”

耶和華啊！求你施行拯救，因為虔誠人沒有了，在世人中的信實人也不見了。他們彼此說謊，用諂媚的嘴唇說話，口是心非。

哈及的兒子亞多尼雅去見所羅門的母親拔示巴，拔示巴問他：“你來是為和平嗎？”他回答：“是為和平來的。”

約拿單與大衛立盟約，因為他愛大衛如同愛自己的命。

如果不是我父親的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒所敬畏的神，與我同在，你現在必定打發我空手回去。但神看見了我的苦情和我手中的辛勞，所以他昨天晚上責備了你。”

大衛對掃羅說完了話，約拿單的心和大衛的心就深相契合。約拿單愛大衛如同愛自己的命。

全體信徒一心一意，沒有一個人說自己的財物是自己的，他們凡物公用。

他被罵的時候不還嘴，受苦的時候也不說恐嚇的話；只把自己交託給那公義的審判者。

耶和華對撒但說：“撒但哪！耶和華斥責你，那揀選了耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你。這個人不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？”

最後，弟兄們，你們要喜樂，要完全，要受安慰，要同心，要和睦。這樣，施慈愛賜平安的神必與你們同在。
