耶布斯的居民对大卫说：“你不能进这里来。”可是大卫占领了锡安的堡垒，锡安就是大卫城。

said to David,“ You will not get in here.” Nevertheless, David captured the fortress of Zion— which is the City of David.

said to David,“ You won’t get in here.” But David captured the fort of Zion. It became known as the City of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will not come in here.” Nevertheless, David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.

The people of Jebus taunted David, saying,“ You’ll never get in here!” But David captured the fortress of Zion, which is now called the City of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will never get in here.” Yet David did capture the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You shall not enter here.” Nevertheless David took the mountain stronghold of Zion( that is, the city of David).

The residents of Jebus said to David,“ You cannot invade this place!” But David captured the fortress of Zion( that is, the City of David).

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David,“ You will not come in here.” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.

如果他能与我决斗，击杀了我，我们就作你们的奴仆；但是，如果我能胜过他，击杀了他，你们就作我们的奴仆，服事我们。”那非利士人又说：“今天我向以色列人的军队骂阵。你们派一个人出来，我们可以决斗！”

后来大卫住在保障里，称保障为“大卫的城”。大卫又从米罗向里面周围筑墙。

正如经上所记：“看哪，我在锡安放了一块绊脚石，是绊倒人的磐石；信靠他的人，必不致失望。”

却拣选了犹大支派，他所爱的锡安山。

那时，所罗门把以色列的长老、各支派的首领和以色列的族长，都召集到耶路撒冷自己面前，要把耶和华的约柜从大卫城，就是锡安运上来。

大卫住在堡垒中，因此人把那堡垒称为大卫城。

论到锡安，必有话说：“这一个、那一个都是生在锡安的。”至高者必亲自坚立这城。

倚靠耶和华的人好像锡安山，总不动摇，永远屹立。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）群山怎样围绕着耶路撒冷，耶和华也照样围绕着他的子民，从现在直到永远。

你仆人不但击杀过狮子，也击杀过熊。这个未受割礼的非利士人也必像一只狮子或熊一样，因为他向永活的神的军队骂阵。”

大卫问站在他旁边的人说：“如果有人击杀这个非利士人，除去以色列人的耻辱，那人会得到怎么的对待呢？这未受割礼的非利士人是谁呢？竟敢向永活的神的军队骂阵？”

因为耶和华拣选了锡安，定意把它当作自己的居所。他说：

我又观看，见羊羔站在锡安山上，跟他在一起的还有十四万四千人。他们的额上都写着他的名和他父的名。

耶和华大发震怒，倾倒他的烈怒；他在锡安放火，吞灭了锡安的根基。地上的君王，以及世上所有的居民都不相信，会有任何敌人和仇敌攻进耶路撒冷的城门。

那时，所罗门把以色列的长老、各支派的首领和以色列人各家族的首领，都召集到耶路撒冷，要把耶和华的约柜从大卫城，就是锡安运上来。

你们要歌颂住在锡安的耶和华，要在万民中传扬他的作为。

因为在那里设有审判的宝座，就是大卫家的宝座。

“我已经在锡安我的圣山上，立了我的君王。”

耶和华爱锡安的城门，胜过雅各的一切居所。

你们要在锡安四处巡行，绕城一周，数点城楼，细察它的外墙，巡视它的堡垒，使你们可以述说给后代的人听。

在北面的锡安山、大君王的城，美丽高耸，是全地所喜欢的。

有人告诉大卫王：“耶和华因为神的约柜的缘故，赐福给俄别‧以东的家和一切属他的。”大卫就去，欢欢喜喜把神的约柜从俄别‧以东的家中抬上大卫的城里去。

于是大卫不肯把耶和华的约柜运进大卫的城到他那里去，却转运到迦特人俄别‧以东的家里去。

你们却是来到锡安山和永活的神的城，就是天上的耶路撒冷；在那里有千万的天使聚集，
