王率眾、至耶路撒冷、攻斯土之民、耶布士人、耶布士人意大闢不能入其邑、故告大闢曰、如跛者瞽者、爾不能勝、要難入此。大闢取郇險要之所、更其邑名、以己名稱之。時大闢曰、凡入暗竇、擊耶布士人、及我所惡之跛者瞽者、則可為軍長、蓋敵有言跛者瞽者尚存、則不得入室。大闢扼居險要、稱大闢之邑、四周築垣、在米羅之內。自此大闢、日漸昌大、萬有之上帝耶和華祐之。

西拉、以勒弗、耶布士、即耶路撒冷、基庇亞、基烈、共十四邑、與其鄉里、以上所載、便雅憫族之業、循其世系。
