他卻起來，擊殺非利士人，直到他的手疲乏無力，緊貼在刀把上。那一天耶和華使以色列人獲得了大勝利。眾人轉到以利亞撒後面，只顧剝奪死者的財物。

那一天，耶和華拯救了以色列人。戰爭伸展到伯．亞文。

馬是為打仗之日預備的，勝利卻在於耶和華。

耶和華賜極大的救恩給他所立的王，又向他的受膏者施慈愛，就是向大衛和他的後裔施慈愛，直到永遠。
