Psalms 第106章
Give Thanks to the Lord, for He Is Good
106:1 See 1 Chr. 16:34, 41for his steadfast love endures forever!
2Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord,
or declare all his praise?
3Blessed are they who observe justice,
who 106:3 [Ps. 15:2]do righteousness at all times!
help me when you save them,106:4 Or Remember me, O Lord, with the favor you show to your people; help me with your salvation
that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation,
that I may glory with your inheritance.
we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedness.
7Our fathers, when they were in Egypt,
did not consider your wondrous works;
they 106:7 [ver. 13, 21] did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love,
8Yet he saved them 106:8 Ezek. 20:9, 14for his name’s sake,
106:8 Ex. 9:16that he might make known his mighty power.
and he 106:9 Isa. 63:13led them through the deep as through a desert.
and 106:10 Ps. 107:2redeemed them from the power of the enemy.
not one of them was left.
they 106:12 See Ex. 15:1-21sang his praise.
they did not wait for 106:13 [Ps. 107:11]his counsel.
14But they had 106:14 Num. 11:4; 1 Cor. 10:6; [Ps. 78:18] a wanton craving in the wilderness,
and 106:14 Ex. 17:2; 1 Cor. 10:9put God to the test in the desert;
but sent 106:15 Isa. 10:16a wasting disease among them.
16When men in the camp 106:16 See Num. 16:1-3were jealous of Moses
and Aaron, 106:16 Deut. 33:2; Zech. 14:5; Jude 14the holy one of the Lord,
17106:17 Num. 16:31, 32; Deut. 11:6the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,
and covered the company of Abiram.
18106:18 Num. 16:35Fire also broke out in their company;
the flame burned up the wicked.
and worshiped a metal image.
for the image of an ox that eats grass.
21They 106:21 ver. 7, 13; Ps. 78:11; Deut. 32:18forgot God, their Savior,
who had done great things in Egypt,
22wondrous works in 106:22 Ps. 105:23, 27; [Ps. 78:51]the land of Ham,
and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
23Therefore 106:23 Ex. 32:10; Deut. 9:14; Ezek. 20:8he said he would destroy them—
had not Moses, his 106:23 Ps. 105:6chosen one,
106:23 Ezek. 22:30stood in the breach before him,
to turn away his wrath from destroying them.
having 106:24 Deut. 1:32; 9:23no faith in his promise.
25They 106:25 Num. 14:2; Deut. 1:27murmured in their tents,
and did not obey the voice of the Lord.
26Therefore he 106:26 Ex. 6:8; Num. 14:30; Deut. 32:40; Ezek. 20:6, 15, 23; [Ps. 95:11]raised his hand and swore to them
that he would make them fall in the wilderness,
27and would make their offspring fall among the nations,
106:27 See Ps. 44:11scattering them among the lands.
and ate sacrifices offered to 106:28 Isa. 8:19the dead;
29they provoked the Lord to anger with their deeds,
and a plague broke out among them.
and the plague was stayed.
from generation to generation forever.
32They 106:32 See Num. 20:2-13; Deut. 1:37angered him at the waters of Meribah,
and it went ill with Moses on their account,
33for they 106:33 Ps. 107:11; [Ps. 78:40; Isa. 63:10] made his spirit bitter,106:33 Or they rebelled against God’s Spirit
and he 106:33 Num. 20:10spoke rashly with his lips.
34They did not 106:34 See Judg. 1:21, 27-36destroy the peoples,
and learned to do as they did.
36They served their idols,
which became 106:36 Ex. 23:33; Deut. 7:16; Judg. 2:3a snare to them.
37They 106:37 2 Kgs. 16:3; Isa. 57:5; Ezek. 16:20; 20:26sacrificed their sons
and their daughters to 106:37 Deut. 32:17; [1 Cor. 10:20]the demons;
38they poured out innocent blood,
the blood of their sons and daughters,
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
and the land was 106:38 Isa. 24:5polluted with blood.
39Thus they 106:39 Ezek. 20:18, 30, 31became unclean by their acts,
and 106:39 See Ps. 73:27played the whore in their deeds.
40Then 106:40 Ps. 78:59, 62; Judg. 2:14the anger of the Lord was kindled against 106:40 See Ps. 28:9his people,
and he abhorred his 106:40 See Ps. 28:9heritage;
so that those who hated them ruled over them.
and they were brought into subjection under their power.
43106:43 Judg. 2:16Many times he delivered them,
but they were rebellious in their 106:43 See Ps. 81:12purposes
and were 106:43 Lev. 26:39brought low through their iniquity.
44Nevertheless, he looked upon their distress,
45For their sake he 106:45 Ps. 105:8; Lev. 26:42remembered his covenant,
and 106:45 See Ps. 90:13relented according to 106:45 ver. 7; Ps. 51:1; 69:16; Isa. 63:7; Lam. 3:32the abundance of his steadfast love.
46He caused them to be 106:46 1 Kgs. 8:50; 2 Chr. 30:9; Ezra 9:9; Neh. 1:11; Jer. 42:12pitied
by all those who held them captive.
and 106:47 See Ps. 107:3gather us from among the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name
and glory in your praise.
from everlasting to everlasting!
106:48 See Ps. 41:13And let all the people say, “Amen!”
106:48 See Ps. 104:35Praise the Lord!
