Jeremiah 第15章
The Lord Will Not Relent
1Then the Lord said to me, 15:1 Ps. 99:6; [Ezek. 14:14] “Though 15:1 [Ps. 106:23]; See Ex. 32:11-13Moses 15:1 [1 Sam. 7:9; 8:6; 12:23; 15:11] and Samuel 15:1 ch. 35:19; [ver. 19]stood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go!
2And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord:
15:2 ch. 14:12; 16:4; 21:9; 43:11; Ezek. 5:12; 6:11, 12; Zech. 11:9“‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence,
and those who are for the sword, to the sword;
those who are for famine, to famine,
and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’
315:3 See Lev. 26:16-22I will appoint over them four kinds of destroyers, declares the Lord: the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, and 15:3 Deut. 28:26the birds of the air 15:3 Rev. 6:8and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.
515:5 Isa. 51:19; [Nah. 3:7]“Who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem,
15:5 Isa. 51:19; [Nah. 3:7]or who will grieve for you?
Who will turn aside
to ask about your welfare?
15:6 See ch. 7:24you keep going backward,
so I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you—
15:6 [Hos. 13:14]I am weary of relenting.
715:7 [ch. 51:2; Isa. 41:16; Matt. 3:12; Luke 3:17] I have winnowed them with 15:7 Isa. 30:24a winnowing fork
in the gates of the land;
I have bereaved them; I have destroyed my people;
8I have made their widows more in number
than 15:8 Gen. 22:17; Ps. 139:18the sand of the seas;
I have brought against the mothers of young men
a destroyer at noonday;
I have made anguish and terror
fall upon them suddenly.
915:9 1 Sam. 2:5; [Lam. 1:1] She who bore seven has grown feeble;
15:9 Job 11:20she has fainted away;
15:9 Amos 8:9her sun went down while it was yet day;
she has been shamed and disgraced.
And the rest of them I will give to the sword
before their enemies,
declares the Lord.”
Jeremiah’s Complaint
1015:10 ch. 20:14Woe is me, my mother, that you bore me, a man of strife and contention to the whole land! 15:10 Ex. 22:25; Ps. 15:5; Isa. 24:2I have not lent, nor have I borrowed, yet all of them curse me.
11The Lord said, “Have I not15:11 The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain set you free for their good? Have I not pleaded for you before the enemy in the time of trouble and in the time of distress?
15:15 [Judg. 16:28] remember me and visit me,
15:15 [Judg. 16:28] 15:15 ch. 11:20; 20:12and take vengeance for me on my persecutors.
In your forbearance take me not away;
and 15:16 Ps. 119:111, 162your words became to me a joy
and the delight of my heart,
15:16 ch. 14:9for I am called by your name,
O Lord, God of hosts.
nor did I rejoice;
for you had filled me with indignation.
18Why is my pain unceasing,
refusing to be healed?
Will you be to me 15:18 Job 6:15; Isa. 58:11like a deceitful brook,
like waters that fail?
19Therefore thus says the Lord:
15:19 ch. 3:14“If you return, I will restore you,
and you shall 15:19 [ver. 1]stand before me.
If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless,
you shall be as my mouth.
They shall turn to you,
but you shall not turn to them.
a fortified wall of bronze;
they will fight against you,
15:20 See ch. 1:8for I am with you
to save you and deliver you,
declares the Lord.
and redeem you from the grasp of 15:21 Isa. 13:11; 25:4, 5; 29:5the ruthless.”
