Sabbath Regulations
1Moses assembled all the congregation of the people of Israel and said to them, 35:1 ch. 34:32“These are the things that the Lord has commanded you to do.
Contributions for the Tabernacle
4Moses said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, “This is the thing that the Lord has commanded.
535:5 For ver. 5-9, see ch. 25:2-7Take from among you a contribution to the Lord. 35:5 See ch. 25:2Whoever is of a generous heart, let him bring the Lord’s contribution: gold, silver, and bronze;
6blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen; goats’ hair,
7tanned rams’ skins, and goatskins;35:7 The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain; also verse 23; compare 25:5 acacia wood,
8oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,
9and onyx stones and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece.
10“Let 35:10 ver. 25; ch. 28:3; 31:6; 36:1, 2every skillful craftsman among you come and make all that the Lord has commanded:
1135:11 See ch. 26:1-30the tabernacle, its tent and its covering, its hooks and its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;
1235:12 See ch. 25:10-16the ark with its poles, the mercy seat, and the 35:12 ch. 26:31, 33; 39:34; 40:3, 21; Num. 4:5veil of the screen;
1335:13 See ch. 25:23-29the table with its poles and all its utensils, and the 35:13 ch. 25:30bread of the Presence;
1435:14 See ch. 25:31-39the lampstand also for the light, with its utensils and its lamps, and the 35:14 ch. 27:20oil for the light;
1535:15 See ch. 30:1-10and the altar of incense, with its poles, 35:15 See ch. 30:23-33and the anointing oil and the 35:15 See ch. 30:34-38fragrant incense, and 35:15 ch. 26:36the screen for the door, at the door of the tabernacle;
1635:16 See ch. 27:1-8the altar of burnt offering, with its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils, the 35:16 See ch. 30:18-21basin and its stand;
1735:17 See ch. 27:9-17the hangings of the court, its pillars and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court;
20Then all the congregation of the people of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21And they came, 35:21 See ch. 25:2everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, 35:21 ch. 36:3and brought the Lord’s contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.
22So they came, both men and women. All who were of a willing heart brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and armlets, all sorts of gold objects, every man dedicating an offering of gold to the Lord.
23And 35:23 [1 Chr. 29:8] every one who possessed 35:23 ver. 6, 7; ch. 25:4, 5blue or purple or scarlet yarns or fine linen or goats’ hair or tanned rams’ skins or goatskins brought them.
2435:24 ch. 36:3, 6Everyone who could make a contribution of silver or bronze brought it as the Lord’s contribution. And every one who possessed acacia wood of any use in the work brought it.
25And every 35:25 ver. 10skillful woman spun with her hands, and they all brought what they had spun in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen.
26All the women 35:26 [See ver. 21above]whose hearts stirred them to use their skill spun the goats’ hair.
27And the 35:27 [1 Chr. 29:6-8; Ezra 2:68]leaders brought onyx stones and stones to be set, for the ephod and for the breastpiece,
28and spices and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.

31and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with 35:31 [1 Kgs. 7:14; 2 Chr. 2:14]skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship,
32to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze,
33in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft.
34And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan.
