Esther 第10章
The Greatness of Mordecai
1King Ahasuerus imposed tax on the land and on 10:1 Isa. 11:11; 24:15the coastlands of the sea.
2And all the acts of his power and might, and the full account of the high honor of Mordecai, 10:2 ch. 8:15; 9:4to which the king advanced him, are they not written in 10:2 ch. 2:23; 6:1the Book of the Chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
3For Mordecai the Jew was 10:3 2 Chr. 28:7; [Gen. 41:40] second in rank to King Ahasuerus, and he was great among the Jews and popular with the multitude of his brothers, for he 10:3 [Neh. 2:10; Ps. 122:8, 9]sought the welfare of his people and spoke peace to all his people.
