God’s Love and Faithfulness
A psalm. A song for the Sabbath day.
1It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praise to your name, Most High,92:1 Ps 135:3; 147:1
2to declare your faithful love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,92:2 Ps 59:16; 89:1; Lm 3:22–23

4For you have made me rejoice, Lord,
by what you have done;
I will shout for joy
because of the works of your hands.92:4 Ps 40:5; 143:5
5How magnificent are your works, Lord,

6A stupid person does not know,
a fool does not understand this:92:6 Ps 73:22
7though the wicked sprout like grass92:7 Ps 103:15–16; Is 37:27; 40:6–7
and all evildoers flourish,

8But you, Lord, are exalted forever.92:8 Ps 93:4
9For indeed, Lord, your enemies —
indeed, your enemies will perish;

like that of a wild ox;

11My eyes look at my enemies;

12The righteous thrive like a palm tree

13Planted in the house of the Lord,

14They will still bear fruit in old age,

15to declare, “The Lord is just;
he is my rock,
